"*chew* This is amazing, I've never tasted sweets so delicious as these.*munch*" Twilight said, helping herself to her twentieth apple brown betty.

Applejack didn't say anything. She had never seen a pony ever eat as much as Twilight did. For the past several hours, the purple gray unicorn had so far managed to eat her way though enough baked goods to have feed three pony of Big Macintosh's size for two week and, apart from one moment where it liked she was going to be sick, Twilight was still going strong and the effects of her eating were clear.

Twilight's belly had swelled out by several feet further then it did before, covering her lap as she sat at the table. Twilight's rear end took up enough space for two seats and well on it way to overflowing on to a third. Three new chins framed her face, as she stuffed another cupcake into her fat cheeks.

"These have to be the tastiest apples, I ever tasked." Twilight said

"Well, that's why Sweet Apple Acres apples are the best in Equestria." Applejack said, a proud grin on her face, Twilight's complement having snapped her out of her surprised stupor.

"It must be nice having so many family members around." Twilight said, wanting to get to know Applejack better.

"Oh, they don't live here, they're just here for the family get together. The only ponys living here are just me, mah sister and brother and Granny. The others have their own farms to take care of." the farm pony

"So ya're new here, right?" Applejack said, "Where did you all come from?"

"We came from Canterlot." Twilight answered as she took a partially large bite out of a slice of apple pie. I was studying there as a student to Princess Celestia and Spike helped as my assistant." At this, Applejack's eyes widened in amazement,

"Ya know the Princess?" the orange pony said with awe.

Twilight nodded and wolfed down the rest of the pie slice, "Sure do. She was the one who sent me here. She wanted me to make some friends… and she also said to get some exercise." she added hesitantly, "Apparently, she thought I need to do more then just sit around and… eat…snacks…all…day…" the words faltered from Twilight's mouth as soon as she realised what she was doing.

Princess Celestia had sent Twilight to Ponyville to do more then study and eat snacks and yet here she was, sitting there, stuffing her face with enough food to feed a family of ponys. Twilight looked over at Applejack embarrassed, wondering what the farm pony thought of her,

She must think I'm a complete pig. I just stuffed my face. The purple gray unicorn thought as she looked at Applejack.

"I'm so sorry, Applejack," Twilight looked down ashamed, the action making her newly gained chins all the more apparent, "You and your family have been so kind and welcoming and here I am, stuffing myself with food while going on going on about how I'm suppose to be not doing that. Oh what you must think of me…"

Applejack however, instead of giving the insulting or rude remakes she had expected, gave Twilight a friendly smile,

"Now don't ya fret none about nothing." Applejack said, "If there's one thing the Apple family respect apart from hard work and honesty is a pony who enjoys their food. Now, Ah'll be honest with ya when ah say ya do need to do more then just sit an' eat, but there's nothing wrong with being on the big side."

"Really?" Twilight asked, looking a bit happier.

"Dang tooting." Applejack nodded, "Ah may need to make a bit more, next time ah invite ya round for lunch, but ah got no problem with ya weight, friend."

For awhile Twilight just sat there, looking unsure about something, but then broke into a bright smiled and wrapped her front hoofs round the orange earth pony, squishing her in a hug.

"Thanks Applejack." the purple gray pony said, "I'm glad to have meet you."

"Sawks Twilight," Applejack replied, "Ah ain't nothing special, but ah'm as pleased as punch to be ya friend."

"Me too, Applejack." Twilight pulled another pie closer and, using her magic, split the pie in half, sharing it with Applejack.

"Twilight!" Spike spoke up, "We have to go! We got other things to check up on and we've been here for hours!"

"Aww Spike." Twilight moaned. She had enjoyed her time with Applejack and would rather stay, but knew Spike was right. It was starting to get late and they need to make sure that all preparation were done before the Princess arrived for the Summer Sun Celebration.

"Okay, let's get going." Twilight said, slowly pulling herself out of her seat, "Sorry Applejack, looks like I got to get going. Maybe we can meet up later?"

With that, Twilight and the baby dragon went on  their way, her now larger belly and flank turning the unicorn's walk into a full blown waddle.

"Well, the food for the celebration is taken care of," Spike said, checking off the list, "unless you just ate it all." he added.

Twilight blushed slightly in embarrassment, feeling guilty for her binge, but still gave the little dragon a stare that warned him to stop with the jokes.

"In any case, we're know running late with checking up on the preparations, we still need to make sure the weather, decorations and music is all done before tonight." Spike continued, "We best shake a leg and no distractions."

"Spike, I'm the oldest out of the two of and you're still a baby dragon." Twilight replied with a chuckle, "If anyone out of the two of us is going to be distracted it would most likely be y- hey, is that a bakery?"
